Addict to Entrepreneur - Overcoming the Part of Life You Didn't Plan For

Dear Friends,

It is certain that your life will encounter many unplanned twists and turns. From job loss to relationship change, to whatever else might happen life is full of moments that can absolutely wreck you.

The question becomes: What will you do when you find yourself face to face with the part of life you didn’t plan for? How will you prevail?

In my latest conversation I sit down with Christian entrepreneur Jay Meyer. Jay had a successful college basketball career, and upon leaving college Jay found himself in a new situation where he encountered an addiction to prescription drugs. At one point in his life he was consuming up to twenty pills a day. An unplanned twist in Jay’s life for sure.

Jay, like many of us, found a way to overcome the part of life he didn’t want to happen. He overcame his addiction to prescription pills to launch not one, but two successful prescription drug companies. He did that through consistent (right) behaviors. Behaviors that taught him how to manage his stinkin-thinking and find new ways to conquer old demons. His story is nothing short of miraculous.

If you have ever struggled with doubt, stinkin-thinking, or inner-demons this podcast is for you.
